A Metaphor of a Human Condition
WHERE DOES TIME GO
Three months since my last Loveletter? How is that even possible? I’ll tell you ^^
Some of you know, some of you don’t; I am having back issues since six months and I had to hustle through them to finish all the projects that I just couldn’t abandon.
That was the theater show in Dresden. Premiere was on the first of June. All went well. I wanted to write a new letter then but failed, since the pain was too much and the exhaustment also.
ON AND ON
I then had a Solo Show in Lissbon, at Curio Art Gallery.This was when I also wanted to write a Letter because the artworks were available online and the Gallery is shipping worldwide. I will still add the LINK because officially the show is over but there are artworks still availabe and I would be over the moon happpy if they found new and loving homes. The title of the show was “A Metaphor of a Human Condition” and I put so much love into the paintings and sculptures.
Then we had an event in Vienna, from MANNER. They bought a sculpture from me, for their collection. And the event was to finally show all their new artworks. Pink Playground. My back was still hurting but I eased it with drinking (easing the back and the social anxiety. win win) For a few more pictures, visit my website (which is always a good idea because it is so beautiful AND it has a hidden feature).
Right now I am on sick leave. First time in my life. Longer sitting is painful, walking too. I do go to Physiotherapy and doctors and whatnot. I guess it is just taking painfully long to heal and get better. Lessons I need to learn; to be patient and to relax.
TO NOW
Which brings me to the event that finally brought me back to my computer. I am part of an exhibition, which is also the opening of an amazing Gallery in Petaluma, California. I am so proud to be included in this first big show and guess what; Collectors Preview just started. The official opening will be on the 12th of July. So maybe you are in the area or know people who are. Go there, send friends. I bet this is going to be a wonderful event. And if you are far away, like me, enjoy the Preview. Title of the show is: Epehmeral. Title for the loveletter, explained.
Now I don’t know how much value this brings to you. So I added something again this time. In my show in Lissbon I had a painting called “DOG LOVE”. I will add a high resolution, smaller version of this painting here, for you to print at home and put it somewhere, if you love dogs. Also if you don’t like them because it is a reminder that they love, no matter what.
And last but not least, I gave an Interview for Beautiful Bizarre Magazine. I am happy about it because it’s about my favorite topics: Animals and Art.
