I bet you’re wondering why there’s a new letter so soon after the last.
Is she suddenly over-motivated? How do we stop her?
But guess what — there is no stopping me.
Especially not when it comes to animals.
And even more specifically: dogs.
Last time, I introduced you to that other version of me.
This time, I need to show you her new companion: Icebear.
I’m not entirely sure if Icebear is a dog, a rat, or… well, an icebear with a puppy spirit.
Whatever she is — she arrived with the right kind of presence.

Icebear was also the name I gave my own dog, long time ago.
I had to let her go eight years back, and today would be her birthday.
So since this is a dog appreciation post, we have to celebrate the original Icebear.
Her real name was Lima. One of the very few creatures I ever named.
Some absences don’t get quieter with time. Lima’s is one of them.
Okay — let’s keep this one short.
But before I go: there’s a new feature about my work out there.
AATONAU reached out and asked to write about it.
The result is a quiet deep dive — into the creatures I make, the thoughts behind them, and the places they come from.
You can read it [HERE].

P.S. Please give an animal (one that won’t bite your head of, or maybe even a dust ghost) a gentle hug from me.
Icebear and Gary are siblings across dimensions!
