And strange creatures
It feels like the days have slipped away in the heat and I, again, failed to write a letter to you as planned. The heat made me slow and tired and I am dreaming of a world where it’s constant autumn, where the air is crisp and everything is vibrating with magic and makes me awake and eager to create things. Means, I am more then ready for the summer to end and for the darker skies and longer nights. For pumpkin soup and red wine and, finally again, candles. And sweaters. And jackets. Man, I am just not a summer person.
ICELAND AND CREATURE SUMMONING
In just a few days, I’ll be slipping away to Iceland- a place that always felt like the birthing place of my creatures, or at least a connection to the creatures living there has always been in my heart. (yes, for the ponies too!) I will be taking this time to enjoy Iceland but also I will focus on something very special, the project that is on my mind for a long time now. Our CREATURE SUMMONING COURSE!
This course isn’t just about making puppets. It’s about calling forth the strange creatures of our imagination (or from whatever realm you choose to bring your creature into being), giving them form and voice. Together, we’ll close our eyes, travel into the mystical fog of your imagination, and find the creature waiting to be discovered. From there, I’ll guide you through bringing it to life—from the very first sketch to the last stitch.
But here’s where I need your input.
What part of summoning a creature interests you most? What would you love to learn?
How would you prefer to engage? I don’t want to create a video course that just stays the same forever. I want to create something that is a communication between all of us.
Is a performing part of interest too?

FUTURE
Also I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be part of two art gallery shows in the US soon. I can’t spill all the details just yet, but it’s happening, and my strange little friends and I will be traveling to California. BIRTHDAY
Now, as a special treat for you and for our little friend, and for me and for everyone, I created a litte “How to” Video on how to create your own little friend. It’s our little friend's Birthday (if I dare say so, when he is a puppet) I created him seven years ago and still love him to pieces. We would be so happy if you would make your own little friend. And maybe send us a video? (us is me and our little friend) He would be so happy. If you have any other ideas on how we could celebrate a puppet birthday. Let me know.
